Breath of Fresh Air

Just lately I have been thinking of whether I should move out to Cambodia all the way over to the other side of the world, to live an enjoy life. I remember when I went travelling there not so long ago, I think it was the happiest I have been for a long time. The people and the Country just make you feel alive and 20 years younger. It will be a big decision for me to do this being as I have never made a big move in my life, the furthest I have gone is about 30 miles away from my home town. But I am looking forward to doing this and experiencing a new side to life, seeing where the next step takes me so to speak. Luckily enough I already know a few people out there from my travels so I should feel pretty comfortable straight away.

There are a lot of things you have to do on the boarder before you enter the country as well, not as bad/hard as some countries like Australia. But you still need to get visa for either 1 month, 3 months, 6 months or a year and then a work permit depending on what visa you have and you intentions when in the country. This is all pretty basic stuff and that’s to be honest is why I think it will be a stress free move, pretty straight forward. I am excited to see what Cambodia has in store for me. Some of the expats call it “The Kingdom of Wonder” meaning that anything can happen in Cambodia from the best things in the world, to the most soul crushing events known to man. These are just some of the thoughts going through my head at the minute and was good to get them out.
